In my mind

As i think about all,
the beautiful moments,
we together lived.
My mind works faster than ever.

I can picture those moments,
as if they had been yesterday.
I can still hear your laugh,
and all the things you said.

As if it was just yesterday,
i love you as much as i can,
always remembering,
the great relationship we had.

Then, i open my eyes again,
as i look around me,
you are not here,
not anymore.

I close my eyes once again,
and picture it all over again.
This being the thing i do daily,
that way you will never leave my mind.

Because i don't want you,
to ever leave my heart.
Even when you are far,
i feel you are closer than ever.
