My eyes fill with a longing sadness when i see you because we've grown so far apart.
I remember a time when we used to close, when you couldn't see me without you being there. But now, we can go the whole day without saying one word to each other, and when we do talk to each other its always to bring me down.
Why can't we just keep living in the past because it is truly scary how we are growing apart so fast.
I don't think you realized when you started calling me names and putting me down, that we were going to end, because if you did, i don't think you would've in the first place.
We've traveled so far and been through so much, it's sad that all i can do now is sit here and wait for your warming touch.
So now all i do is sit in vain, longing to gain your heart once again, so until i do, there will be a longing in my eyes as my heart calls your name.
