Fallen Angel

See her as she falls
Her spirit is broken.
Her wings are bruised and cut
Her hopes are torn
Torn and thrown away
She hasn’t fallen far
But she didn't have far left to fall
She sits and watches
As her dreams are crushed
All of her life
It seems like such a big mistake
All of the love and trust she once had
Was swept away like dust in the wind
She picks up the blade again

Because now she knows it will all be ok because she realized she has friends who love and care about her
