Lost girl

I cannot explain just how I am feeling
Mixed up words more pain concealing
Why is it that you do not listen to my heart
Longer poems for another, why does it tear me apart?

I wanted just to see a smile upon your face
Take you away into another, better place
Is it wrong that I feel jealous, that I'm slowly going mad?
Is it wrong that I cry because I see you feel so sad

Jealousy so pointless, and I argue with myself
Put myself to the sword, not eating for my health
Green with that feeling, yet I argue with my mind
For a better friend than you, I will never find

Yet every day, I am constantly full of fear
Scared you will find another to wipe away your tears
I say all these things, I go on because I care
You know if you're ever hurting, I will still be there

I wish I could explain the feeling churning in my soul
That you are the one who saves me, makes me whole
I know I cannot write it in case I cause offence
But please, understand, I'm just trying to make sense

I love you, I love you, more than those three words say
And regardless of your feelings, I will feel this love each day
But I suppose the feeling in me, is rising out of my pain
Please never leave me, Sitting there in the rain....
