Torn Between Two Lovers

She's known him for three years,
He's three years her senior.
They stay together in fear,
of her sister discovering their misdemeanor

He has a temper,
she learns to cope.
she loves him to much,
to feel his hand grip her throat.

She goes to school today,
and finds a new freind.
who consoles her in such ways,
that she decides she can't pretend.

She gives her new love everything,
then comes home to an empty world.
How much she would give,
just to be his girl.

The only problem is,
this cancer he must fight.
the doctor gives him,
3 months to end his life.

She can't have both men,
so, now she chooses.
between a man who will give her a broken heart,
or a man who gives her bruises.

    OH MY GOD! That's horrible. I mean nicely written but SO FREAKING SAD. This was definitely NOT a cooucking poem! HAHAHA I like it though. Most love poems always end happy....you threw me for a loop. Nicely done missy !
