We almost were

As I sit here in silence, my mind begins to look
For all the times we spent together, just as if we were a book
My heart speeds up, and my eyes begin to water
I just can't believe that our love could really falter
We are still friends, and I remain thankful for this
But I can't help but wonder, why we can't share our bliss
Your love i will forever endure
You can bet on that for sure
But I just cannot find a cure
For that fact that we almost were.

    aww. that's a great poem!! i realy loved it! you did a great job putting feelings into words.
    i can relate it to myself...i used to feel that way like a month ago. i was living in a past, crying all the time. but i know u probably don't need advise, but i just gonna say that, try to forget, put away all pictures of u twoo, try to do smth else, make yourself busy. i did that , it was really hard, and now i'm almost cured. it might help u too. just try it.
