Betrayal

She led me through an illusion
Consciously or unknowingly I do not know
Shes hugged me into confusion
Not telling me where to go

Snuggle me she did
Leaving hints along the way
Constantly I did as she bid
But then she left in May

What have I done to deserve this treatment?
To be forced to travel this maze
What can I do to earn forgivement?
So that I might vanquish this haze

The victim becomes the aggressor
The innocent her target
On the sidelines is the previous attacker
Not knowing what he does not get

This circle of blood
In a circle of friends
Comes at us in a flood
Convincing us "today it all ends"
