Time to say Goodbye

by ntv650   May 18, 2005

That love is temporary is a blatant lie,
Because here I am, staring at this picture of you.
While writing this poem under another night-sky.

I thought that all my feelings had gone,
Swept away by the tide of my lonely life.
But once again my heart for your touch longs.

Can’t wash all the memories away,
Play chess without remembering the pain,
Too much emotion, not forgotten in a thousand days.

I can’t help but feel your still a part of me,
That perhaps it’s just my last goodbye.
Time to let go of your sweet laugh and twinkle eyes.
