Loneliness and Empty Space

by Tara   May 18, 2005

Loneliness and empty space,
Life's a gimmick, pointless race
To the death and end of all,
Pushed from the edge, an endless fall.
Darkened depth is breaking me
With blinding insecurity.
These thoughts of things I could have been
And things I'll never be again.
Dropping down to my knees
Praying life will set me free -
Vanish me without a trace
Of Loneliness and empty space.

I like how you make the flow of your poems chant like it gives these sad and depressing poems of yours such an eerie and mysterious flow. Your words yet again were powerful and held so much emotion within each. Each line kept me gripped. Short and powerful. Well done. Loved it. ~Mel

Man you write some awesome poems. I love your rhymes. The message is clear, but not too clear ( that's a good thing ).. keep writing! 5/5
