Bittersweet Symphony

by Bryce Ellner   May 19, 2005

Human nature
Wanting that which one cannot have
So many boundaries keep us away
Hearts that shall never unite
Such is much like a tragic play
With us it's actors
Speaking given lines across time, without rhyme
And fate beith the stage we tread.
Tell me, my love
Do you believe in miracles?
Or is it just an unreliable something?
A mistake of time hewn together against emotion
I will never truly get to see you
Never shall I truly hold the soft hand
For it is out of my reach
Or I am of too short an arm
So we shall part until the morrow
Parting is such bitter-sweet sorrow
Whist yet in sorrow there lies bliss
Shrouded by a veil of black tears
Find it there, my love
And though we shall not be together
I will still hold thy love in my heart
Such a feeling I'll not allow to fall apart.
