Patience

by samytina   May 19, 2005

All seems still and quiet within...
a pensive state of collaboration
with the universe and the senses.
Asking questions, wondering why -
how long to go before I die?

Dreaming of Love and of joy to come,
how much peace, and how much sun?
Years of laughter, days of Love...
granted freely - snow white dove
of spiritual freedom flies,
into forever; diamond skies
of lavender, scented you.
Connected passion, spirit touch;
sometimes stunning - always hush...
So silent you come, you stand before me
in your beauty and I sigh, reach out my hand -
Lord, may I touch - I need to touch
this angel before me, is she real?
Can he feel what I feel? Does she know,
as I know...does she see the real me
so deep within this heart?
I see her gaze with spirit eyes
into this, my place where soul lives.
Does she care, will she dare try
again - so soon, too soon methinks?
This Love, patience be...
Destiny.
