The last party

by JaeC   May 19, 2005

The drinks are great
The party is wild
But in a dark corner
Sits a sad child
Her hair in her face
And tears down her cheeks
Theres only one soul
Of which she seeks
Blood on her shirt
And seeps down her wrists
There is a sharp knife
She clenched in her fist
She laughed and she smiled
As her pain was finally shown
But nobody noticed
So she died alone

I sometimes feel like this, like even if I died, no one would notice or care. I think that would be the worst way to die..dieing alone. This is an excellent poem; it really touched me.
