Class of '05

You walked in with hope,
Expectations for fun
You never thought that
high school would be done

At times, it was rough
project, essay and a test
Other times you slacked off,
For just a little rest

The many good times,
The few wasted days
All of the memories
that are here to stay

Maturity grew
a little each year
it's now graduation,
the time for a tear

You leave here now
with something to lend
this chapter has closed,
it's come to an end

Good luck in the future
travel the distance
don't lay down for the
slightest resistance

Walk out with hope,
Expectations for fun
But never forget when
high school was done
