One Prayer, One Wish

The sun has set and darkness has spread,
This is when all my feelings may escape,
Looking at the nite sky searching for answers,
So many stars one wish has to come true.

The sun begins to rise and its a brand new day,
I sent my feelings back behind the closed doors,
Maybe today my prayer will be answered,
Hopefully tonite my one wish will come true.

The day has come to an end as you drop me off,
Quietly and shy we say our goodbyes,
Today my prayer was answered,
Hopefully tonite my wish will come true.

The conversation comes to an end as we hang up the phone,
Tossing and turning with happiness,
Today I got my first kiss from you,
Tonite I found out that I made your wish come true.
