Tomboy

I was a tom boy
Out to prove something to the world

Id rather punch a boy in the mouth
then kiss him on the lips

I would play football with the boys then play dolls with the girls

I wouldn't back down from a fight
And I always backed words up with out a thought

My main priority in life was to fight and to win
Love was never a issue then..

Now Ive grown older and still I back my words
But now I kiss the boy I love
rather then hit him for getting fresh
(most the time)

Ive been hurt physical and mentally
And Ive seen the evil of the world

I wish so much to be back in the time where we only worried about what to do the next days weather for cast
And worry about being called a girl

Back in the good ole days
it was great
I didn't have to worry
Or have to see my friends getting pregnant
and have to worry myself about being a mom

I miss my younger years when I wished I was this age(17)
Back when I was a care free child.
They will stick with me forever
