Unable to affect me

I thought you would affect me
Bring harm and misery

Just basic negativity ,
But you aren’t anybody

I knew whom you were before you started speaking

So, I keep distant emotionally
I protected myself completely

Even though we were close physically
It all had no meaning

You thought you could deceive,
Tell me I was your one and only

I’m good at the logical analyzing and observing

As you can see I wasn’t fooled by your game
Of lying and cheating

( or was I ( fooled ), I could just be using reverse psychology )
