Bring him home

by Dawn Ellis Cantrell   May 21, 2005

Something that pumps adrenalin pumping. He loves being a firefighter. Everytime I here the alarm, my heart drops fear of harm. My hopes and dreams can go up in flames. Only God knows how I will handle the pain. to lose the love of my life, would cut me deeper than a knife. I sit and wonder, Tonight a hero, or his time to go? To have him taken from me, because he believes and is bravest to himself before others. Whether it be a stranger or a fellow brother. No matter what the call, he gives his best and gives it all. Please watch over him tonight, whether it be a another fire or another cry. whatever it may be Just please bring him back home to me......April Ward
