Memories kept coming back
As I lay down crying at night
Without you by my side
To hold my hand and hug me tight

The thoughts when we’re together
Playing inside my head
Makes me long for someone
Whom I once had

Someone I need to laugh with
Someone whom I care
Who makes my day brighter
Who makes me feel better

And now that I’m alone
Trying to understand what went wrong
I’m blaming myself for what had happened
Why now I can’t find myself in your arms

There’s no place where my heart could stay
No shoulder to lean on when I’m sad
No one to dry my tears away
To whom I could talk when I feel bad

Remembering those happy moments
When your lips used to touch mine
Now that you’re gone
Seems like the sun won’t even shine
