Once upon a time,
In a far away land there lived a girl.
She had everything you could ever need,
Living in a castle,
Owning gifts of diamonds and pearls.
On the outside she seemed happy,
But really she was living a lie.
Everynight before she slept she would say a prayer.
"Lord, I have everything a girl could ever desire, but I still feel empty inside.
Please fill this emptiness, and make me happy once again."
God sent an angel to her one night when she slept,
And then once she rose from her slumber her life began to change.
They began to talk everyday,
And gradually felt this emptiness inside become whole.
He was more than she ever wanted,
And she just hoped he felt the same.
They hadn't known each other long but she knew she was falling for him,
Each day deeper and deeper.
This guy was shy, but he realized he had found the girl of his dreams and wasn't going to let her slip.
One night, he got up the courage and looked in to her eyes.
"I think about you night and day, you're an angel sent to me from above and feel the luckiest guy alive to have met you.
Now you're in my life I don't ever want you to go.
So I have to ask you, will you be mine, mine to hold and to protect until the end of time?"
Her heart began to pound, butterflies in her stomach grew, she tried to speak and quietly said "yes" with a smile.
He took her hand in his, and held it tight.
"I promise I'll never let you go."
Hes remained true to his word,
And they're now very much in love.
He is her world,
And she is now his.
Shes fallen for him in every way, and every day she loves him even more than the last.
Every night before the girl sleeps at night,
She still says a prayer to God,
"Lord, I thank you for making me whole, thank you for sending me this guy for me to love.
Thank you for making me happy once again."
And when she sleeps she dreams of what the future will bring for them both.
