Moonlight Serenede

by Imani   May 22, 2005

The song of Death has washed over me
The song of sorrow and tears of the sea

It comes so silent at the stroke of night
Darkening every glint of light

It shows death, pain and sorrow
Threatening that there is no tomorrow

I hear a knocking on my door
Knowing that my life is no more

The door opens silently, so silently so
I scream, and scream and scream “NO!”

A breeze blows on my sweating face
As I run away with a steady pace

But, suddenly, it holds me back
Knowing that fastness was something I lacked

Then the song of Death and pain and sorrow
Fills my ears as if there’s no tomorrow

It’s the most deadly song ever made
The stunning, the horrifying… Moonlight Serenade
