All I see is you

by Emily Barclay   May 22, 2005

I'm fading away now,
The light is getting near,
I'm drifting slowly forward,
Angels is all I can hear,

Then I can hear mum crying,
Screaming baby I love you,
Wait let me see my mum,
Let me tell her I love her to,

I see in the distance,
Relatives who I though were lost,
I want to really see them,
But with that comes a terrible cost,

Then I see you,
Standing at the end of my path,
Guiding me toward the light,
Into regaining my over half,

I can still hear my mum screaming,
And now the rest of my family too,
But something in your eyes says,
I'll see them soon like I did you,

I look behind me at my life,
And in my footprints I see you all,
You helped me through those bad times,
Made those footprints by stopping my fall,

Then I look ahead,
My future lies before me,
I have no choice but to move on,
And leave you all to be,

I'm going to watch over you all,
So mummy please don't cry,
I wish I had a chance to,
A proper chance to say goodbye,

I walk forward in my tunnel,
Out of life, but out of death to,
But remember I am not alone,
Because all I see is you.
