The Last Past Weeks

by Cat   May 22, 2005

The last past weeks I've been on your tail
Yelling at you screaming, trying to make your relationship fail
But the truth I now see, that love prevails

People nag at me, saying "Let them be!"
But they don't see the way I see.
If it were up to me, I'd let them be free

No, it's the work of her mom and dad
And my cowardness, afraid they'll be mad
Please niece, don't feel so sad.

You took advantage of me, and ran off with that boy.
I'll show you, I'm not dumb as a toy!

So I told Mom on you two.
You see, I'm as bad as you.

But nag, threaten, abuse as I might
You two will always be together making a sight

So I give up on trust
Love each other if you must.
But I warn you this:
If anybody asks, I'll tell about the hug and kiss

So be on guard for this girl
Or else she'll tell about your love to the whole world
