Wrong Changes

by Eman D   May 22, 2005

"I grew to love.
I had you tightly gripped.
My hand opened.
Then you just slipped."

Those words don't matter anymore.
I'll be walking through that door.
You've grown violent.
Never silent.

I feel I no longer know you.
We've grown apart.
I know you grew.
Where you went wrong is where we start.

What happened to fun?
Why do you need a rag?
So you carry a gun?
This makes me gag.

Maybe you haven't changed.
Maybe I see who you really are.
A year away from you is long.
Inside your black as tar.

I hear about you in the news.
The things you do leave me heart to bruise.
Your smile has turned into a grin.
Every one of your actions, a sin.
