One Last Breath

by XxXangeltearsXxX   May 23, 2005

He walked a path of sorrow
So i would know his name
He bore a heavy burden
He was killed to hide my shame

One of his friends betrayed him
Three times these words he cried
"I'VE NEVER MET THIS MAN"
Because of this, he died

Some thorns were placed upon him
Woven to form a crown
From the cuts his Sacred Blood
Slowly trickled down

The town gathered to see him
Carry the cross on his back
Although he was being tortured
There was no turning back

"Father Please Forgive Them
They Know Not What They Do"
I know when i see these words
That Jesus' love is true

"Father It Is Finished"
He said with one last breath
"To you i commend my spirit"
Then he met his death

But not for long!!
