One Voice in the Darkness

by Tara   May 24, 2005

Darkness and black,
Two demons the same,
There's no turning back,
No hope for this game.
Lost in the dark
With black closing in,
Light is a spark
I won't see again.
Demons alike
To torture me,
Cold words strike
While no words be.
Who fights them off now
When I can't write a word?
Quiet darkness, I bow,
Its become preferred.
These moments of silence,
Red eyes in the black
Face now the defiance,
A voice fighting back.
One voice cared about
What I had to say,
A muse pulled me out
As black slipped away.

Excellent flow and nice vocab. Kind of dark for life and society, but I suppose it's more about the message than the style. 5/5 from me great work
