Airport Good-bye

by Cara McTired   May 24, 2005

Waiting to leave,
My life,
My country,
I cried, and cried,
Because i can't stay,
My flight will be here soon,
and I'll leave today,
Saying my prayers,
My ride and family left,
I sat there all alone,
Until i here a whisper,
"Cara... please come home..."
I turned around, Shocked and speechless,
There you were...
I found a smile,
and my heart leaped as
I whimpered a question, "Why are you here..."
About to cry i turned away,
and looked at the Kansas sky,
"To say good-bye of course, your my friend...
and i know soon our dream will end..."
"Oh..." i sobbed this was all to much,
We suddenly hugged and i melted at your touch,
I felt we had something... so I asked if you love me...
Your hug tightened and i sobbed,
"Its time for you to fly away..."
We broke about and I boarded the plan,
Thinking about our "Good-bye"
The whole 9-hour way...

*didn't really happen, but it would be so cool if the guy i like would do that *sigh* i guess I've been reading way to much romance novels. COMMENT AND VOTE PLEASE!*
