Redundant Stares

by Kayla   May 24, 2005

Through my hazel eyes
I see that you are falling
Falling to the ground below
As I am left here bawling
I cry these lonesome tears
For the pain that I know you feel
I know how bad it hurts
As you tell yourself it’s not real
You try to cover up the pain
With a smile that is fake
You can see it in your eyes
That every night you lie awake
With sleepless nights
And days that you despise
You left with scars on your body
And a heart filled with lies
I wish that I could help you
And get rid of the redundant stares
But all I can do for you
Is let you know that someone cares
