As i close my eyes,
and look into the past,
and see you and me,
having a great time.

i wish i was still there,
with you and all our friends,
but you can't always get what you want,
life isn't like that.

When i think about you and me,
i just can't understand,
what made us brake up,
if we were the perfect match,

i just can't and won't ever understand,
what made us apart,
even though all the reasons i know,
i just wish we were still together.

as i look into the past,
and see how much i laughed,
i can't believe i ended up like this,
what happened to me??

as i look into my life, now.
i just wanna cry,
because it's not the same,
because you and me is over now.

when i think about you and me,
i just wanna cry,
because i miss you babe,
i just wanna have you back.
