The Acid Rain

by AynJal   May 24, 2005

The cry you heard all last night
The glass that broke
When you awoke
To my screams and pleads
Did you choose to lay
To not help, to stay
In the room, so dark, so safe
Did you not remember
What always comes after
The pain
The acid rain
That I call tears
You told me your fears
After my moans
When I lay on the floor
Feeling so alone
You creep down the steps
Pick up a cloth
Clean the blood that was left
See my blue eyes
See how I lie
Against this wall
Waiting for you to come
For you to hold my close
And tonight is when hell arose
To drown me in it's fire
Where you'll find me
You liar
You told me to hold on
That I needed to be strong
Was it worth it in the end
To lay awake, feeling helpless once again
