But you are the one that I wish would understand.
My love, my life, my soul, my heart.
A life so brand new, I’m scared to start.
You are my best friend and the one who knows me well,
But he is the one who caught me when I fell.
The distance apart may make us weak,
But you both bring two different loving techniques.
Love can not be defined but it can be shown.
How much I loved you then, I wish you would have known.
But I have him now, and I can’t break his heart.
Without you both, my world would fall apart.
A friend so true, a love so real.
The pain I have I wish you both could feel.
You’re free to love who you desire,
But its both of you that I admire.
Every night I wish for you to be lying next to me,
Just like the old times, forever happy you and I could be.
But, my life has changed since we were last together.
I’m sorry to you but the relationship I have will be forever.
I know I hurt you and I cause you pain.
Because of this though, a friendship so pure we have gained.
I don’t want to lose that and certainly not you.
But I wish you knew then, that the love I had for you was true.
