Some day from now, in a year or two, maybe I'll find you with someone new
And maybe you'll be much happier with them
Or maybe you'll miss me and come home again
But every day, as i look outside
I'll wonder if you're happy or if you're alive
And nothing can ever diminish the pain unless you were to return again
