Pain II

Just when I thought it ended
It was just beginning

It all came in the blink of an eye
And started with a simple "hi"

We began to talk more and more
And my boyfriend became a boar

I couldn't seem to get away
So we would meet and "play"

We began to meet late at night
Go a bit far? we just might

After that one special night
We became real "tight"

We were so happy together
Should we keep it a secret? We'd better

I had him, and you had her
And everything went like a blur

Then one day "rumors" flew
And I tried to break it off , but it went blue
~PAIN~
I stayed with him and you with her
He said he hated you, yeah sure

Then one day at a track meet
You two talked and everything was neat

But he didn't know that we talked in the time between
And you still treated me like a queen

I like you, but love him
I was stuck out on a limb
~PAIN~
We ended all of it
But only for a bit

After everything was quiet
We went back to "trying it"

Now I wonder is this pain or is this joy?
Are your feelings true or are you just another boy?

But deep down inside we'll always be
Friends forever, but with "the key"
