Lost Soul

by Natalie McPhee   May 24, 2005

Burning fire, has engulfed my soul,
I want to cry,
But my eyes are drier than dry,

My skull verging on explosion,
My heart so weak,
My throat lined with anxiety

Tortured,
So dark,
So lonely,
Lips cracked with despair

Although, now beyond your help,
My lost soul whispers.
