The pain and emptiness
are too much to keep
i lay in bed at night
and i can't sleep
there are so many
thoughts in my head
so i try to
write instead
but sometimes the words
just wont come out
and when they do
I'm really in doubt
that the words i write
are what i mean to say
they don't show
that I'm not OK.
the words are wrong
the rhyming isn't right
they don't show
that I'm putting up a fight
to try and hide
the feelings I've got
the pain is like
i just got shot
i don't know what to do
the words wont come
maybe if i stop trying
I'll find some.
