Heartless abyss

I don’t understand not even one bit
How can happiness seem be right there
And all of a sudden turn to shit
I’m convinced that it doesn’t even exist
You think you feel it but your minds playing tricks
Theirs a smile on your face and a warm feeling inside
Then time seems to stop as you slowly start to die
I don’t understand how tears last forever
But that sparkle in your eye seems like it was never
Why does the pain rest on your soul?
But the bliss, like water drains down the gutter
Were it remains to patrol, the fiery pits along with the other
Hopeless dreams of love, the smiles and the laughs
On behalf of the hatred and detest that reigns above the best
Like clouds raining on the rest, leaving us depressed
This is the heaven and the hell of our heart
Life and death is when it all first starts,
It comes to an end with love and hate tearing it apart
This is the reality that you imagine when you dream
Of happiness as time slows and you’re overcome with sadness
You fall in to your life that is an abyss
