Not Human enough

I see the knife,
I see my arm,
I put them both together,
Just to show you that I am just like you that I can bleed and feel.
I see the blood come out of my veins.
Do you now believe me that I’m human with emotions just like you?
Do you now see it?
Or do you still wish to bring me more pain?
To send me more into the edge?
Am I not human enough for you?
I’m just a shadow to you.
Only seeing me when you wish it
I wish I could change life with you for a day
So you can see the pain I feel inside.
The scars I have to forever remember the pain.
I wish I could just put the knife through my heart
So this thing I call life would end once and for all
