The angel of her life

by charmed   May 25, 2005

She sleeps wide-awake
And amid her dreams
Her angel comes through sunlit beams
She had seen him before and so had he
But never had they touched ever so deep
He wakes her and holds her hand
Little did he know he touched her soul
They say angels are fragile
And you should not hold them tight,
For they, might break
She holds him light, but loves him deep
For in his eyes she sees her life
Beneath the stars and beyond the ocean

She laughs, she cries,
At the little tricks god plays us by
But he sent her the most beautiful gift of life
Love, in the angel of her life.
