This poem is about the awkward political situation in Germany at the moment. Faith in politicians is after the Harz IV concept, a law fixing that unemployment workers get less money even if they have a family and many more limiting actions. Yet we have more than 5 millions people out-of-work, increasing figures and our government didn't do anything to solve many of our inner problems in the last 5 years. New elections will be organized at 18th of September, that's what Germany's Federal Chancellor announced yesterday, because he yet lost the majority in the parliament and the nation's appeals for a new political course with the conservative party became louder and louder.
Demonstrations and walkouts
People fighting for their jobs
The unemployment data increasing
Toward the sky
Yet the universe’s darkness can’t cover
The mistakes and sequels anymore
What our government overslept
Trying to hide what is obvious
For everyone, in an country with 5 millions redundant workers
The politics of the easeful hand
Our Federal Chancellor perfectly defined
No way to pull our country out
Of this crisis, did you ever think about ?
Laws and decisions clever circled
Misunderstandings and excuses
The times are over
Talking straight is the only solution
It won’t be able anymore
To watch our country
Fall even deeper into this hole
Of unemployment and debts
New elections for a new course
But will they help ?
If not , did you ever think about ?
Mr. Federal Chancellor ?
When peaceful demonstrations and walkouts
Develop to rallies of violence
Because it’s obvious for everyone
Our people are willing to fight for their jobs
