The anticipation of change

You weren't here today, i was close to tears,
i couldn't wait for you, but tomorrow is another day,
i can't wait to see you, I've been so very worried,
i had nightmares about it, all weekend long...
right up til i heard your voice over the phone,
then i knew things had changed between us forever... at least from my point of view.
thank God, this change is good...in my eyes.
we both have had personal "troubles",
but we've both survived so far...
i don't know how you feel about me, but i feel as if we will last forever.
