Talking and laughing about what we've done
Drugs, boys, how far we've gone
Swearing never to tell anyone else at the end
Because all the things discussed, you can only tell best friends.
Covered up with blankets
My hands holding your head
Paranoid about every sound
Recalling what Grandma said
She said they'd come and get us
And take us far away
Possibly rape and kill us
And that we might never again see day
When I go outside
I'm reminded of your sweet gentle scent
And think of that crazy time
On my Dads sidewalk we spent
After the shaving cream fight
And the gum all in his hands
And watching him try to get his fat fingers in your snow caps
Without getting caught was his plan
I wish all my times outside
Were greatly spent with someone special like these
And that there are no more lonely ones
And next time you don't fall out of the tree.
