Love is but a Game

by .Just Jessie.   May 25, 2005

The walls are starting to buckle
My world is caving in
What I thought was the road to a relationship
Now is at a dead end

Its like the engine blew up
And left us stranded on these streets
The two we go down are different
And will never again meet

We take one together for a while
With sink holes, speed bumps, twists, and winds
We start moving too fast
And have to remind ourselves that speeding is a crime

The ticket is given
The relationship is done, no more
We took it too fast, its finished
Game over, you lose your score
