Vaults Of The Dead

by Victoria   May 25, 2005

Along the corridor turn to your right
Hit the switch put on the light
You can see a long room but you cannot see the energy it holds
Bring in your link to the dead let the stories unfold
People once lived and died in this place
Many have not yet found eternal grace
In these vaults far under the ground
Murderers and thieves are all around
Through the darkness you can hear a child’s cry
Please help me find my mummy she left me and I don’t know why
As you walk into the next room a tall man stands in your way
He has blood on his hands he tells you to stay away
As you question him you realise the terrible deeds he has done
He has killed people just for the fun
But like many of his kind the hangman’s noose found his neck
The pleasure he took in killing no one can forget
Moving on quickly you take another look around
Something catches your eye on the floor many dead bodies can be found
They have died of starvation and their exit was trapped due to the fire above
Their glowing light shows that in the realms of light they have found love
Its time to leave this place and the ghosts you have met from the past
Put the light off and let the darkness overcast
Take the secrets of this place and keep them in your mind
You never know what the next visit to the vaults of the dead may find
