Wounded Prince

by Ð맆îñ¥   May 25, 2005

Flamboyant prince on your white horse
Searching the valley for your blood’s source
Once blue robes not crimson red
You’re finding a place to lay down your head
Oh little boy in sadness you weep
Your mother’s abandoned but this love you keep
Look to the fields where the poppies now grow
The seeds are scattered each time they sow
Discarded among warriors bold
No secret stories of you have been told
But brave though you were only one saw you fight
Only the one who felt your full might
Sadness envelops your unguarded heart
Let it be a greeting each time you depart
Look to new lands to find fortunes new
Each time you pass by I’m wishing for you

I like this poem to. I have decided that I am a fan of your work :) yes i do admit that line was a bit forced. and i probably shouldn't worry about what that girl said cause ur like an amazing award winner, so that must mean I'm sort of good if a pro at poetry tells me it's good :) and I do try to get unique styles, although it takes a little while to write a poem because I have to think about it for so long lol. I don't think you ramble at all. I probably do :) lol, but I like talking to you
