Unhappiness

by M J U   May 25, 2005

We fought,
I cried,
I tried
to change my ways
and be just as you asked.
My mind
and dreams
unwind it seems
to meet your whims
I don't think I relaxed.
You push
so far
the truth
is hard to come by
when you want
to talk to me.
Above
so real
the love I feel
for you is different.
I don't know why
you can't see
the hurt,
each day
absurd you say
that I won't
let you be
just who you are.
Away
I turn,
today
I yearn
to know what makes
you want to venture far.
