He told her those three words,
that made her world stop.
She thought he was for real,
that he had changed.
But little did she know,
she was caught in his game.
He now knew he was back in control,
she would do anything to make him stay.
She thought nothing of herself,
it didn't matter anyway, he was the only one who had a say.
One night laying in the hospital bed,
her mom asked-But baby why did you let him do this to you?
Her reply- Mommy he loves me and he told me he didn't mean to hit me. He just got angry when I didn't listen to him. He told me he was very sorry.
And then she closed her eyes and softly before she let go whispered to her mom- Mommy he's sorry, he told me so. Don't be mad at him mommy, he loves me.
