The Truth

The truth is
out there
so they say
rain rain
go away
come again
another day
well the truth is
Ive been told
only lies
and all Ive
ever known
is dark grey skies
this is the truth
and i do despise
but this is life
seen through my eyes
trust no one
thats what i say
for the very second
you look away
they'll violate you
in every way
let it snow
let it rain
let the blood flow
let it release my pain
as i drag the blade
across my arm
i do not see why
its called self harm
for i feel much better
when i am done
as for releases
its my only one
to me you were always
second to none
and now you've betrayed me
yet my love for you hasn't gone
the truth is out there
this i know
and the sad truth is
its time for me to go.
