Words were nothing, loved the dismay
Stepped on leftovers, relentless were they
Nothing they remembered, scrounger like I grew
With love so chaste, what else could I do?
They defied thy God, they scorned my love
They broke thy vows, they crushed my heart
But still they never turned, to see what shattered
Just the remnants fell and pierced my faith, just one in another.
So zeal I loved, or so frail it had been
So strong was your love that I could never see
The reason I never knew, were they told to me?
What more could I do, just wait endlessly.
