A Flawless Beauty

by Danielle   May 26, 2005

She conflicts with her tainted shell
Striving to flee her tiny little world
Ultimately escaping with a final farewell
A last her wings unfurl

The face of the clouds beam down
At her beauty and her style
A queen with a golden crown
She lives her life with a smile

Eyes glow at the sight of her
As heads turn to see
And as the world forever turns
She'll be a perfect beauty

Behind the clouds she disappears; so very far n' high
Remembered forever and always; as a flawless butterfly

I love clean, simple, concise poetry. I also like the way you changed the rhyme scheme at the end. It gave it a very lyrical feel. Nicely done!
