Dont let death win

by krystal   May 26, 2005

Last night we all prayed for you
hoping you would get better real soon
please don't let death win
please keep fighting its not a sin

you can do it hunny please open your eyes
you can do it sweetie we know it hurts but its OK to cry
you can do it baby please just try
you can do it babe please don't die

J.P is so worried
he tries to hide it but we all see him wipe his eyes
he misses you so much
hes not the same him anymore his laugh is so fake but he tries

i have never seen him as happy as he was with you
when your in the hospital he doesn't know what to do
except sit, pray, and hold your hand hoping you will get better
because what you got hit by that car his heart went through the shredder

poor J.P sitting lonely in the waiting room
while his love is in the other room fighting for her life
he skips school just to sit with you
in hope that you will wake up and see him there

but when you wake up i hope with all of my heart that he is there
it will make him so happy
i wouldn't mind if i was there too

we all cried for you last night
because with you in the hospital it dosen't seem right
were all hoping tonight that you wont let death win...

to Lindsey.... please get better soon baby....

It's a very well done poem, i know that it comes from the heart that is what truely makes it a poem in my opinion. I think that it is something that i admin in a young writer.

Very well put and fell well felt and met, i know that it is a very well personal.

P.S. If you get to read my poem about africa and notice that it was before any of these 'natural disasters' that are occuring. I do work with non-profit organizations so i know what it is like, to have someone cry and not to have anything, to talk to you without having anything to their name.

Trust me, before i say something like "i wish someone knew what it was like to be me" i don't just throw it out there. Thank you very much to for your information though, i am glad that you took notice of one of my poems.
