Use us

by Terri Lynn   Oct 5, 2003

You stand on your corner
Girl, what have you done?
Are you paying the bills?
Or is this sh*t for fun?

We knew you once baby
But now we don't know
Selling your body
Just another guys h*e

Listen to us hunny
We know whats right
Is getting knocked up worth
A few bucks every night?

You don't use us darlin
So we guess we'll go
Sweetie did you know
We're your brain heart and soul?

So you stand in the cold
Body pumped full of crack
Six months along
Just rags on your back

U screwed up babe
This is how you must pay
Your life is short now
In an alley you lay

Think, if you used us
All this could be through
But instead you were stupid
And your lies and deceite grew

So you'll die with your baby
And your aids on the street
No one to love you
You can hardly speak

So far from your corner
And your constant highs
Your dead and alone
Your pretty face all disgused

Just use your brain
Your heart and your soul
They'll lead you correctly
Let you grow old

*Although this poem is fictional, it's based on my best friend. She made mistakes, and they took over. Shes gone now, I miss her dearly.*
